**Job Description**:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Traffic Signal Systems Specialist **to join our team, who will provide strategic leadership, integrate advanced ITS technologies, engage with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee quality control processes for high-impact transportation safety projects.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Signal Design and Programming: Design and program traffic signal systems to support optimized traffic flow and ensure safety.
- System Integration and Troubleshooting: Integrate signal systems with other ITS components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
- Maintenance Support: Provide technical support for signal maintenance activities, ensuring that systems remain operational and effective.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Monitor and analyze traffic data to identify areas for signal optimization and improvement.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare documentation, including system design diagrams, programming instructions, and maintenance guides.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Strong knowledge of traffic signal hardware, software, and control systems.
- Proficiency in traffic signal software (e.g., SYNCHRO, Econolite, Trafficware).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:
**- **Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience with traffic signal systems, including system design, programming, and maintenance.
