**Job Purpose**:

- To develop inspection plans for static assets and extend technical support to inspectors in performing effective inspection activities.
- To ensure integrity and availability of assets against any equipment failure.
- Monitor, investigate and study corrosion status of plant equipment, structures, pipelines and related facilities and recommend appropriate action for corrosion protection in order to safeguard plant and equipment and minimize deterioration.

**Job Key Accountabilities**:

- Carries out inspection on all stationary equipment (Pressure Vessels, Heaters, Boilers, Storage Tanks, Piping, etc.) for condition assessment and reliability assurance in accordance to the RBI requirements and international standards.
- Monitor, investigate and analysis corrosion condition of plant equipment, structures, pipelines and related facilities and recommend appropriate action for corrosion protection in order to safeguard plant and equipment and minimize deterioration.
- Review inspection reports prepared by QC Inspector including recommendations, remaining life calculations.
- Receive reports from operations and maintenance relating to corrosion status of plant equipment, structures, pipelines and related facilities and visit site to investigate.
- Support RBI, RCM, and Reliability study and participate in defining the inspection scope and NDT requirements.
- Ensure recommendations have been implemented in accordance to company specifications and applicable standards.
- Generates the inspection procedures and guidelines and update the Department QA (Quality Assurance) manual.
- Supervise & Monitor Inspection activities as per inspection plan in assigned / respective plants.
- Review and finalize recommendations for repair, replacement, up gradation and prepare repair procedure as per plant requirements.

- Investigate failure problems and provide Technical Advice & Recommendations.
- Full utilization to the maximum extent of the Inspection Data Management software.
- Compliance with SHARQ safety norms and SHEM requirements.

**Minimum Education**:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

**Minimum Experience**:
5 years’ experience in the relevant field.

**Job Specific Skills/Competencies**:

- Knowledge of Equipment and Piping inspection, including Welding & Corrosion Inspection and CP.
- Must have knowledge of relevant ASME, NACE, API, ASTM Standards / Codes.
- Good verbal & written communication skill in English.
- Working knowledge of Computer using MS Words, MS Excel.

Work Availability

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday - Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
