The **Permit Coordinator** is responsible for managing and securing all necessary permits and licenses required for construction projects. This role ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, facilitates smooth approval processes, and coordinates with relevant authorities to ensure timely project execution.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in permit coordination within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and permitting procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant permit management software.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations.
- Previous experience with large-scale construction projects.
- Strong negotiation skills with regulatory authorities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review project plans and documents to identify permit requirements.
- Track permit status and follow up with authorities to expedite approvals.
- Maintain a comprehensive permit and licensing database for all ongoing projects.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations related to permits.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to collect required documentation.
- Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies to resolve permit-related issues.
- Ensure all permits are renewed and updated as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of all permit communications, submissions, and approvals.
- Assist in compliance audits and inspections related to permits.
