Customer Engineer, Infrastructure

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience delivering technical presentations and making live demonstrations of infrastructure products.
- Experience with competing on-premise and hyperscaler technologies in infrastructure and data areas.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience leading IT strategy discussion and designing cloud adoption plans.
- Understanding of complex customer’s existing software workloads.
- Ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the Cloud.
- Ability to learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud technology space.
- Ability to speak and write in Arabic fluently.

As an Infrastructure Modernization and Data Management Customer Engineer, you will work with specialized Sales team to introduce Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective, existing customers, and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks. **Responsibilities**:

- Drive adoption of Database Migration and conduct technical engagements around Database Migration. Conduct workshops with customers on Database Migration.
- Establish solid working relationships with Google strategic account teams, sales leadership, product/solution management, Global System Integrator Partners, and executive staff. Coach Google Cloud specialist teams around Database Migration, identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Manage the technical relationship with Google’s customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
- Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments. Advise customers on implementation time-lines, change management implications, etc.
