This is a monumental opportunity for an experienced General Manager in the Luxury and Lifestyle sector to take on an exciting challenge to manage the pre-opening and opening of one of IHG Hotels and Resorts most prestigious brands - The Regent.

Located on the Jeddah Corniche, also known as the Jeddah Waterfront - a 30 km coastal resort area along the Red Sea. The corniche features a coastal road, recreation areas, pavilions as well as King Fahd’s Fountain, the highest fountain in the world.

We are looking for an experienced luxury Hotel General Manager and leader with significant expertise working in ultra-luxury hotels where you will be at the forefront of representing the prestigious Regent brand. Your mission will be to infuse every aspect of the guest experience with creativity and innovation, ensuring that each visit is an unforgettable journey of elegance and delight.

You will need proven expertise in how you deliver a true luxury and lifestyle guest experience alongside knowing how to position the brand in the market. You will be highly innovative and creative and able to drive and seek out opportunities to maximise commercial performance and owner returns.

You will be a natural people leader, able to build trusting relationships that encourages and motivates your workforce. You will develop a culture of innovation alongside your team and be commercially focussed, with a futuristic vision in line with the significant developments that are ongoing in the region.

**Responsible for**:

- Crafting bespoke guest engagement strategies to elevate the Regent experience to new heights
- Building trusted relationships with the owners and owner representatives with the ability to develop a robust commercial business plan that will drive profitability
- Leading, managing and motivating a newly formed team - recruiting, measuring and managing performance
- Reviews and implements strategic initiatives to drive commercial performance across the Hotel and its facilities
- Prioritises and nurtures relationships with guests and external contacts such as current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers and local communities
- Able to demonstrate being the driving force behind pioneering guest loyalty programs that go above and beyond
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day pre-opening and subsequent opening hotel direction, maximising financial returns, driving people development and empowering your team to create memorable guest experiences every step along the way.

**What we’d like from you**:

- Substantial prior **luxury hotel general management **experience
- A visionary mindset with a genuine passion for luxury hospitality
- Significant pre-opening and opening general management experience
- Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively convey the essence of Regent Hotels
- A passion for staying ahead of industry trends and embracing cutting edge approaches
- Must speak fluent English, with additional languages preferred
- Expertise in the Middle East
