- Functions as the Aviation Maintenance Production Control Specialist (PC) under the direction of the PC Supervisor. Participates in the coordination and scheduling of aircraft to meet the contractual operational readiness rates, and customer mission requirements. Plan maintenance actions to afford Vinnell Arabia and MNG Aviation Command maximum flexibility with aircraft availability and readiness. Streamlines work processes to reduce maintenance cycle time while improving aircraft maintenance operations and readiness. Train selected Saudi Arabia National Guard (SANG) personnel to develop and maintain an effective PC management system and conduct effective PC operations. Produces daily status and other readiness reports as directed. Ensures maintenance operations are conducted IAW safety regulations and directives.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

**A.** Duties/responsibilities:
1. Establishes daily maintenance organizational goals, objectives, and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated OR rates.

2. Conducts daily production control meeting for coordination of maintenance.

3. Coordinates maintenance training activities within the assigned battalion.

4. Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.

5. Coordinate with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) representatives, as needed.

6. Ensures related maintenance operations are conducted IAW safety regulations and directives.

7. Completes all aircraft and daily status reports IAW AR 700-138.

8. Other tasks as directed by the PC Supervisor.

**B.** Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods under the guidance and supervision of the PC Supervisor**C.** Supervisory Responsibilities: As assigned.**Minimum Qualifications**

**A.** Education Level:
- 1. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.- 2. Preferred: Advanced degree or equivalent.**B.** Training Certifications:
- 1. Required: Must have graduated from a US Army aviation maintenance course or military equivalent.- 2. Preferred: Must have graduated from a US Army aviation maintenance course or military equivalent and FAA A&P license.**C.** Experience:
- 1. Required: Six years cumulative experience in aviation maintenance.- 2. Required: Four experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician.- 3. Required: Two years supervisory experience in aviation maintenance.- 4. Preferred: 2 years’ experience in Production Control.**D.** Specific knowledge, skills, ability:
1. Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.

2. Proficient in MS Office software.

3. Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

4. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.

5. Possess a valid issued driver’s license.

6. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
