- Functions as the Aviation Maintenance Production Control Supervisor under the direction of the IMSS Department Manager. Oversees and manages all maintenance activities; directs and coordinates the program activities of aviation maintenance (1st Brigade ASB); coordinates aviation logistics and supply chain management for all platforms, ALSE, AGSE and back shops. Provides aircraft maintenance production control management support to Vinnell Arabia in support of MNG Aviation Command. Participates in the coordination and scheduling of aircraft to meet the contractual operational readiness rates, and customer mission requirements. Plans, schedules, and streamlines all scheduled maintenance actions to afford Vinnell Arabia and MNG Aviation Command maximum flexibility with aircraft availability and readiness. Streamlines work processes to reduce maintenance cycle time while improving aircraft maintenance operations and readiness. Ensures established work standards and procedures are developed and adhered to. Establishes and monitors aircraft time-change component schedules to ensure replacement components are ordered in a timely manner to meet MNG Aviation Command flying hour and maintenance requirements. Manages the controlled exchange program and ensures all necessary documentation is completed when executing controlled exchanges. Trains selected MNG Aviation Command personnel to develop and maintain an effective production control management system and conducts effective production control operations. Ensure that all related operations are conducted in a safe manner.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

**A.** Duties/responsibilities:

- 1. Ensures that maintenance functional activities and procedures are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness (OR) rates IAW contractual requirements.

2. Responsible for the establishment of maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports (daily, monthly, yearly) that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates.

3. Establish daily maintenance organizational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated OR rates.

4. In coordination with VA and the Aviation Logistics supervisor, establishes the daily maintenance support plan.

5. Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards, and measures; reports IAW the quality control inspection program, and with Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities, for all maintenance.

6. Report inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance and supporting maintenance activities to the IMSS Department Manager

7. Establishes work priorities for the following:
**A.** Maintenance supervisors**B.** Aircraft mechanics**C.** Aircraft back-shop supervisors**D.** Quality Control section supervisors**E.** Aircraft electricians8. Conducts daily production control meeting for coordination and synchronization of all aviation maintenance support functions.

9. Coordinates maintenance training activities and requirements with the Training Lead.

10. Supports a professional development program in support of Saudization-localization.

11. Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.

12. In coordination with the Flight Operations, develops, establishes, and executes the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.

13. Responsible to coordinate with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for matters relating to aircraft maintenance, airframes, warranties and downed aircraft recovery team (DART) activities.

14. Ensures all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.

15. Represents all VA Battalion support at BDE maintenance meetings.

16. Other tasks as directed by Aviation Maintenance Division Deputy.

**B.** Independence: Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Primary supervisor of all maintenance support operations. Property accountability and amount TBD.**Minimum Qualifications**

**A.** Education Level:
- 1. Associate’s Degree or equivalent training and experience required.- 2. Bachelors Degree in aviation management**B.** Training Certifications:
- 1. Graduate of a US Military aviation maintenance course or civilian equivalent.2. FAA A&P certified

3. FAA IA certified

**C.** Experience:
- 1. Ten (10) years cumulative experience in aviation maintenance.- 2. Five (5) years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician.- 3. Two (2) years’ experience as a Production Control Officer or Supervisor.- 4. Five (5) years supervisory experience in aviation maintenance
