**Job Summary**:
The area sales manager is responsible for the successful sales and support of Belimo’s commercial HVAC damper actuators, motorized valves, and sensors business development in the Western region of Saudi. The sales manager builds strong relationships with Belimo’s customers/partners, the specialized community of control contractors, and control distributors.
The regional sales manager is responsible for ensuring that the target group receives personal support with relevant technical expertise. The main elements of this process are initial contact, a customer visit, analysis of the environment, presentation, customer development, and project monitoring.

**Reporting**:
The area sales manager is part of the contract sales group, reports to the country managing director and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop new business with new and existing customers within western region not limited to Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah.
- Develop and drive new business utilizing “pull through” sales efforts with end-users, consulting engineers, and other stockholders for the purpose of creating specifications and demand for Belimo products.
- Demonstrate a value added approach to the sales/support cycle by utilizing market knowledge and planning tools.
- Work closely with the team includes product managements to develop innovative customer solutions and be “first to market” on new business opportunities.
- Develop proactive response to customer needs and business priorities utilizing Belimo resources and operating in a time efficient and organized manner.
- Effectively utilize sales tools including: BW, select Pro, etc.
- Work on special committees and projects as needed.
- Safeguard and manage Jeddah Office.
- Assist customers for after sales services in collaboration with technical support team and relevant departments.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
- 3 years proven track record in a similar sales position.
- Experience in HVAC or related technical field.
- Strong organizational, inter-personal, and negotiation skills are required.
- Strong communications and presentation skills are a must.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem solving ability.
- Self-starting personality is required to efficiently structure work schedule and work independently from remote office.
- MS office and other basic computer skills are necessary to complete sales reporting requirements.
- Similar experience with ERP and CRM systems.
- Travel requirements of position is approximately 50%.
- Excellent level in English/Arabic languages.
- Transferable iqama for non-Saudi.
