**Job Description: Mechanical Estimation Engineer Job Purpose**

Prepare and price the mechanical scope of tenders for all kind of projects (water networks, sewage, pumping stations, reservoirs, treatment plants,

buildings), ensuring accurate, compliant, and competitive submissions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review tender documents (RFP/ER/Specs/Drawings) and define mechanical scope.
- Perform MTO/quantity take-off for pipes (DI/HDPE/CS/GRP), valves & fittings, pumps, tanks, chlorination/firefighting systems, testing & commissioning.
- Issue RFQs, analyze technical/commercial offers, verify compliance, and fix terms (delivery, warranty, INCOTERMS).
- Build pricing sheets (Supply-Only and Supply-&-Install), including installation, testing (FAT/SAT), pre-commissioning, and handover.
- Evaluate preliminaries/indirects (site setup, insurances, bonds, logistics, storage) and margins.
- Draft RFIs, clarifications, assumptions, inclusions/exclusions.
- Coordinate with electrical/civil/controls, procurement, planning, and contracts to align costs with schedule and cash flow.
- Maintain an updated price database and vendor list; support value engineering.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven KSA experience with a recognized contractor/consultant.
- Intermediate: 2-7 years; Senior: 7+ years in pricing mechanical scopes
- Familiarity with AWWA, API, NFPA (firefighting), and basic FIDIC/contract practices.

Skills & Tools
- Advanced Excel (pivot, lookups, Power Query) and structured pricing templates.
- Ability to read drawings (AutoCAD/PDF) and use take-off tools.
- Estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy/Build Smart) is a plus.
- Strong vendor negotiation and clear reporting skills.
- Monthly vendor/price benchmark report and VE savings tracked.

Pay: ﷼4,999.00 - ﷼9,999.00 per month
