**Job Summary**:
The **Technical Manager** is responsible for leading all technical and engineering aspects of **PVC and glass fabrication projects**. This role involves design review, system selection, technical submittals, preparation of shop drawings, and providing expert solutions across the project lifecycle. The position requires close coordination with consultants, clients, and internal departments such as Production and Projects to ensure the delivery of technically sound and cost-effective solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:Design & Engineering**:

- Review architectural drawings and specifications to define technical requirements for PVC and glass systems.
- Supervise the preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and material orders.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Verify structural feasibility and suitability of selected systems.

**Technical Submittals & Approvals**:

- Prepare and submit technical documentation including material submittals, system samples, and mock-ups.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain timely approvals.
- Address technical queries and resolve design clarifications effectively.

**Coordination & Support**:

- Collaborate with Estimation, Planning, Production, and Site Execution teams to ensure accurate implementation of technical data.
- Provide continuous technical support during production, assembly, and installation phases.
- Resolve on-site technical challenges in coordination with Project Managers and Supervisors.

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead and mentor the technical team, including AutoCAD draftsmen and design engineers.
- Allocate workloads, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of outputs.

**Research & Development**:

- Stay updated on new technologies, systems, and materials relevant to the industry.
- Recommend improvements in design and processes to enhance efficiency, durability, and aesthetics.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong technical knowledge of:

- PVC window systems
- Curtain wall systems
- ACP cladding
- Structural glazing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design/engineering software
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Number of cost-saving or optimization proposals submitted per quarter
- % of technical issues/clashes resolved before production phase
- 100% documentation accuracy across all projects
- Number of internal training sessions delivered to project, production, and site teams
