**Position title: Head of Government Relations (Saudi, NEOM)**

**Location: Middle East**

**Introduce about my client**:
We are a a leading player in the global photovoltaic industry, is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of oversea manufacturing site GM to lead our government affairs in the Middle East. This role is key to our international growth and will involve managing all aspects of the construction project.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for government relations in the Middle East, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders in the region.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders
- Determine business roadmap & requirements and provide support in future business planning.
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies.
- Coordinate with local government institutions to understand and navigate the business processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor and analyze regional policies, legislation, and market trends to identify opportunities and potential risks for the company.
- Lead and manage a team of government relations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of strategies.
- Facilitate collaboration between the company and local governments on projects, initiatives, and partnerships.
- Manage crisis communications and reputation management in the context of government relations.

**Position Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, mechanical engineering, or related fields; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Familiarity with international project management standards and processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating team members.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, able to build relationships with teams and clients from diverse backgrounds。
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English; proficiency in Arabic is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required by the job and to work in different countries and cultural environments.
