Jr. Civil Engineer Consultant

**1. SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS**

1.1. As a Civil Works Engineering Consultant at Mayar Gulf Engineering Consultants, your primary responsibility is to provide expert consultation on civil engineering projects and solutions. You will play a crucial role in advising clients, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring the successful execution of civil works projects.

**2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

2.1. Analyze client requirements and recommend appropriate civil engineering solutions and strategies.

2.2. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop comprehensive technical proposals and accurate project quotations.

2.3. Utilize your deep technical knowledge to ensure that proposals are technically sound and meet client specifications.

2.4. Effectively utilize the company's ERP system to track leads, RFQs, and RFPs, and maintain updated records.

2.5. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and proposing tailored solutions.

2.6. Use project management software to develop detailed cost estimates and project schedules for proposals and quotations.

2.7. Provide valuable feedback from clients to enhance service offerings and capabilities, collaborating closely with product development teams.

2.8. Respond promptly and professionally to RFQs from clients, ensuring timely submissions that meet all requirements.

2.9. Manage registrations and maintain active status on the company's clients' vendor portals to facilitate seamless project bidding and execution.

**3. AUTHORITIES**

3.1. Recommend strategic initiatives in sales and marketing to enhance client engagement and revenue growth.

3.2. Access necessary sales and marketing resources to support effective business development efforts.

3.3. Access project files and collaborate closely with technical teams to prepare accurate pricing estimates and project plans.

3.4. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.

**4. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS**

4.1. Report to the Lead Civil Engineering Consultant or designated Project Manager.

4.2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders as necessary.

4.3. Coordinate with Quality Control and Safety departments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

**5. ACCOUNTABILITY**

5.1. Responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining client satisfaction, and upholding the company's reputation through professional conduct and adherence to policies.

**6. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**

6.1. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Arabic languages.

6.2. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; additional qualifications in business or marketing are advantageous.

6.3. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

6.4. Proven experience in sales or marketing roles within the civil engineering or related technical industry.

6.5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with ERP and project management software.

6.6. Ability and willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
