**Job Purpose**:
To perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on heavy trucks, construction equipment, light vehicles, and portable machines, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy trucks, construction equipment (excavators, loaders, cranes, dozers, etc.), light vehicles, and portable machines (generators, compressors, welding machines, etc.).
- Inspect, maintain, and service electrical systems including wiring, lighting, ignition, alternators, batteries, sensors, and control modules.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance equipment life.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install, test, and calibrate electrical components, relays, and control circuits.
- Identify and replace damaged or defective parts using proper tools and testing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Collaborate with mechanics and workshop supervisors for integrated troubleshooting.
- Respond to urgent breakdowns at project sites to restore operations quickly.
- Report major faults or recurring issues to supervisors for further technical review.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in heavy vehicles, equipment, and portable machines.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, multimeters, scanners, and testing equipment.
- Understanding of CAN bus systems and electronic control modules (ECM).
- Familiar with safety procedures for high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
- Problem-solving and fault-finding skills under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma / Technical Certificate in Electrical Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum **3-5 years of experience** as an Auto Electrician for heavy trucks, construction equipment, and light vehicles.
- Experience with portable machines (generators, welding machines, compressors, etc.) is required.
- Knowledge of electrical software diagnostics will be an advantage.

**Physical & Work Conditions**:

- Work in workshops, project sites, and field conditions.
- May require extended hours and emergency call-outs.
- Physically fit to handle equipment and tools.

Pay: ﷼2,500.00 - ﷼3,500.00 per month
