The Role
- Receive fresh items from vendors and verify quantity against purchase orders
- Inspect freshness, quality, and temperature of all delivered fresh products
- Reject, return (RTV), or claim compensation from vendors for poor quality, damages, or shortages
- Ensure accurate receiving records and reports (received vs ordered quantities)
- Take full responsibility for proper receiving and RTV to avoid stock issues or shortages
- Monitor and supervise fresh picking activities to ensure correct handling of perishable items
- Train and guide pickers on proper picking and handling methods to prevent spoilage
- Ensure only good-quality fresh items are dispatched to stores
- Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks for offloading and material handling
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cold-chain compliance

**Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of fresh and perishable products (fruits, vegetables, poultry, deli, etc.)
- Ability to assess freshness, quality defects, and temperature compliance
- English and Arabic communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Basic Excel knowledge for receiving reports, variance tracking, and data entry
- Forklift and electric pallet jack operating skills (valid license preferred)
- Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and accountability
- Ability to work under pressure in a cold-chain and warehouse environment
- Flexible with working shifts
