Production Engineer for Stainless Industries

Job Description
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for stainless steel architectural fabrication, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to translate product designs into efficient manufacturing processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements, and lead initiatives to implement these improvements.
Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and drive corrective actions.
Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure the reliability and uptime of production equipment, and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
Provide technical expertise and support to production personnel, troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues and providing training as needed.
MUST have experience working with Stainless Steel, Mirror, Brush Finish.
Collaborate with procurement teams to identify and qualify suppliers for raw materials and components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
Participate in new product development projects, providing input on manufacturability, cost optimization, and production scalability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
7+years of experience in stainless steel or metal fabrication industry. With Experience of Polishing Stainless Steel.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including metal fabrication, welding, machining, and finishing techniques.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for process design and optimization (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive projects to successful completion.
