Assistant Finance Manager, Budgeting

responsible for preparation, review, and amendments to the yearly budget (whenever required).
- responsible for preparing quarterly forecast based on the last month’s performance and annual cash flow projections bifurcated to monthly projections.
- Perform the monthly accounting process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Perform and timely completion of annual audit.
- Supervise and approve journal entries, journal adjustments based on supporting documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.
- responsible for review of budgeted vs actual variance P&L analysis with Chief Accountant and advise FSCM on the reason for variances from the budget.
- responsible for preparation and review of standard cost of goods sold statement and variance analysis at month end between actual and standard consumption of materials.
- Prepare all accounting reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of details
- Perform other duties as directed by Finance & supply chain Manager
- Check and approve the daily payments to suppliers based on three-way matching.
- Ensure all invoices are reviewed and verified for proper documentation and attachments (in the form of purchase orders, invoices or receiving reports) to support the recording of transactions in the general ledger and support the daily payment process.
- Timely processing and payment of all payroll related payments i.e., Monthly salary, salary advance, vacation settlement, final settlement, housing advances & car loans.
- Preparation of the cash flow statement to the Senior management
- Assist Manager, Finance & supply chain for the long-term funding plans.
- Timely tracking and updating of internal records for the existing hedging facilities.
- responsible for approving or rejecting payments in compliance with approved cash flow projections unless the budget/forecast is revised and approved by FSCM and Managing Director accordingly.
- Ensure timely filing of documents with accuracy and completeness.
- Maintaining of all records in both physical and electronic forms to ensure effective retrieval whenever need arises.
- To receive the package from Chief Accountant for adding budgeted figures and adding quarterly forecast for the next 3 months based on current actual numbers for the month.
- Prepare the report of Variance analysis between actual and budgeted P&L and the reasons thereof.
- Prepare the report of Variance analysis between actual and budgeted cash flow incurred during the month and reasons thereof.
- Prepare the report of Variance analysis between actual and budgeted consumption and reasons thereof.
- Prepare the report of Budgeted forecast of next quarter based on actual results of the period ended.
- Review of raw and packing material prices, report on abnormal price variations during the period and action plan.
- Reporting the Reasons of abnormal wastages incurred during the month.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Riyadh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
