**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and manage cloud storage architectures leveraging services like AWS S3, Glacier, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based backup and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, including Azure Backup and third-party tools.
- Manage snapshot policies, backup schedules, retention policies, and restore procedures across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Develop and execute DR strategies ensuring business continuity and compliance with recovery point and time objectives (RPO/RTO).
- Automate backup operations and storage provisioning using scripting or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor backup and storage systems for performance, cost efficiency, and data integrity.
- Ensure backup solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance requirements.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to align backup strategies with organizational goals.
- Document backup procedures, DR plans, storage architecture, and operational workflows.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong experience with cloud storage and backup platforms, including AWS S3/Glacier and Azure Backup.
- Proficiency in snapshot management, data retention, and recovery workflows.
- Understanding of disaster recovery planning in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) or automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- AWS Certified: Storage - Specialty certification.
- Microsoft SC-300 or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience implementing hybrid backup strategies, including on-prem/cloud integrations.
- Familiarity with backup and replication tools (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik).
- Knowledge of data lifecycle policies, archival strategies, and cloud cost optimization.
