**Job Overview**:
As an Art Director, you will be responsible for defining and overseeing the visual direction of our card game project. This includes everything from conceptualizing the art style to working closely with game designers, illustrators, and animators to ensure a cohesive and compelling visual experience. Your role is to maintain the artistic integrity of the project while making sure it aligns with both the gameplay mechanics and audience expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the creation and development of the visual style for the card game, including characters, environments, card designs, and UI elements.
- Collaborate closely with the game design and development teams to ensure visual assets complement gameplay mechanics and narrative.
- Manage a team of illustrators, graphic designers, and animators, providing feedback and ensuring all assets meet quality standards.
- Develop mood boards, concept art, and style guides to communicate the artistic vision.
- Oversee the production of assets from concept to final implementation, ensuring consistency in art style and quality.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on visual content, ensuring it aligns with the overall vision and brand of the game.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor products to ensure the game stands out visually.
- Work within project timelines and budgets while maintaining a high standard of creativity and quality.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Art Director or Senior Artist in the game industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on card games or similar projects.
- Deep understanding of card game design, including UI/UX, character design, and thematic consistency.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team of artists.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D software, or other relevant design tools.
- Experience with both 2D and 3D art styles is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex game mechanics and narratives into visually engaging assets.
- Strong attention to detail, with a passion for creating immersive and appealing game worlds.
- Familiarity with digital and physical card game art styles, trends, and audiences.

**Required skills**:

- ** Previous experience as an art director / art lead**
- ** 7 or more years of professional experience in casual games, with 4 or more years in a management role**
- ** Have shipped at least 1 game in the MENA region.**

**Preferred**:

- Knowledge of Arabic Language and Art.
- Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal.
- Passion for card games, board games, and the gaming industry as a whole.
