**About the Role**

We are seeking a **Solution Architect** with strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud services, and event-driven architecture to design and lead scalable solutions across our platforms. You will oversee architectural decisions for **DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Odoo, PostgreSQL, SQS**, and various microservices to ensure system scalability, performance, and security.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **System Architecture & Design**:

- Architect scalable, high-performing solutions integrating **DynamoDB**, **PostgreSQL**, and **Elasticsearch** for data storage, retrieval, and analytics.
- Design **event-driven architectures** leveraging **SQS** for asynchronous communication between microservices.
- Ensure tight integration of **Odoo ERP** with internal services and external APIs.
- **Cloud & Microservices Strategy**:

- Define best practices for **containerized microservices** (Docker/Kubernetes) and **CI/CD pipelines**.
- Develop multi-environment deployment strategies with **zero-downtime releases** and **rollback capabilities**.
- **Data & Search Optimization**:

- Implement **real-time data sync** between **DynamoDB**, **Elasticsearch**, and relational data sources.
- Optimize **Elasticsearch** indexes for high-performance search at scale.
- **Security & Compliance**:

- Ensure **IAM roles**, **VPCs**, and **security groups** are properly implemented for all services.
- Design **audit logging**, **data encryption**, and **API security** layers.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**:

- Work with product, engineering, and business teams to align technical designs with business requirements.
- Present trade-offs of architectural decisions to leadership.
- **Performance & Cost Optimization**:

- Benchmark performance of DynamoDB and PostgreSQL for OLTP vs analytics workloads.
- Use **SQS DLQs** and **auto-scaling strategies** to reduce operational costs.

**Required Technical Skills**
- **Databases**: DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and data replication pipelines.
- **Search & Analytics**: Elasticsearch, real-time indexing strategies.
- **Messaging Systems**: SQS, Kafka (nice-to-have).
- **Backend Architecture**: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, event-driven systems.
- **Cloud Platforms**: AWS (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS).
- **Security & Networking**: IAM, VPC design, HTTPS/TLS, secrets management.
- **DevOps & CI/CD**: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/Jenkins.
- **ERP Integration**: Odoo API integrations and modular customization.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with **multi-region deployments** and **read-replica architectures**.
- Knowledge of **ETL pipelines**, **data lakes**, or **stream processing** (e.g., Kinesis, Glue).
- Familiarity with **observability tools** (Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
- Experience in **cost optimization** for AWS workloads.

**Soft Skills**
- Ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership in cross-functional, distributed teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and system design documentation skills.

**Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Certifications like **AWS Solutions Architect**, **TOGAF**, or **CKA** (Kubernetes) preferred.
