**Job Purpose**:
The purpose of this position is to design, install, configure and manage of IPT with all communications technology at Health Affairs.

**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**:

- IP Telephony Design and Implementation - Including provisioning of circuit cards, trunking and VoIP phones.
- Plan and maintain the highly technical, logical configuration of phone system technologies.
- Looks for optimal balance of telecom cost reduction and end user functionality.
- Translate core understanding of telecom vendor products into specific implementable solutions and as applicable oversee implementation of those solutions.
- Work with multiple Tier 1 telecom vendors on a variety of products and service (Voice, IP, ISDN, Hosting, Wireless/Mobility, Fiber etc.)
- Collaborate with outside vendors/project leads to provide knowledge of voice technologies to ensure successful implementations of new or changed systems.
- Investigate alternatives and research development of strategic implementations of voice and components.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented services.
- Implement Technologies & Customer Services projects.
- Execute project plans as part of a team.
- Produce, test and implement telecommunication designs.
- Create test procedures.
- Produce disaster management plans.
- Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.
- Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.

**Job Qualifications and Experience**:
**Minimum or Required**:
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or equivalent. With 4 years of Experience.

**Preferred**:
Master Degree in Information Technology or equivalent. With 2 years of Experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE\Collaboration).
