**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1.Manages development projects assigned to team upon formal project initiation by the IT PMO.

2.Leads the Level 3 maintenance and support function of their section and provide support for events escalated by the Informatics Systems Operations, Technical Support, or End-User Training Departments.

3.Provides problem management support as part of the problem management process.

5.Leads unit, functional, performance, and user acceptance testing (if applicable) and lead user sign-off.

6.Ensures projects are compliant with the controls defined by the IT PMO.

7.Provides accurate and timely reports to the IT Program Management Department.

8.Delivers projects on time, on budget and within scope.

9.Owns the day-to-day interaction, communication and management of vendors supplying services to the project.

10.Plans communication and necessary training for the change delivered by projects.

12.Drives Quality Assurance by implanting quality controls throughout the project life cycle including both defect detection and prevention.

13.Models customer focus in their day-to-day interactions with customers and HITA staff.

14.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.

15.Participates in self & others' education, training and development, as applicable.

16.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.

17.Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration, or related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
Five (5) years of related experience with Master’s degree, or seven (7) years of related experience with Bachelor’s degree is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
PMP Certification preferred.
