**About the job**

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the Engineering Department in Riyadh, the Kitchen and Laundry Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preventive servicing of all kitchen and laundry equipment throughout the hotel to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining equipment performance, guest satisfaction, and compliance with Mandarin Oriental safety and hygiene Standards.

**As Kitchen and Laundry Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties**:
Principal duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following, which indicates the general nature of work expected:

- Conduct daily inspection, servicing, and repair of kitchen and laundry equipment including dishwashers, ovens, deep fryers, steamers, mixers, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, ironers, and extractors.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule and maintain accurate records.
- Respond promptly to repair requests and breakdowns, ensuring mínimal downtime.
- Monitor the condition and performance of gas, electrical, steam, and water connections associated with equipment.

**As**Kitchen and Laundry Maintenance Technician, we expect from you**:

- Support installation and commissioning of new kitchen and laundry machines when required.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures during servicing of machinery.
- Assist other engineering team members in general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
