**Job Summary**:
**Engineering Director - Dammam (Jackets, Topsides and Off Shore Platforms)**

**Role Summary**
Responsible for managing the Engineering part of the Project, including, and not limited to, quality control measures, budgets, and project timelines.

Make certain that the technical objectives are met within the approved Conceptual design, budget, and schedule.

Ensure that the design is executed in the most efficient manner in accordance with the Regulatory and HSE standards, while minimizing costs and future out of service period.

Coordinate the development of Operations Manual and Procedures

You must have shall have a clear understanding ,exposure and delivery of:

- **Systems design**:

- **Offshore installation**:

- **Construction methodology**:

- **Accommodation design**

**Key Responsibilities**
Responsibilities and specific tasks in connection with the role:

- Manage the resources in the Engineering Functions, including process improvement, and ensures that Management procedures and are followed and adhered to.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance, motivation and mentorship to the team members.
- Manage the Engineering Managers and teams.
- Manage direct and multiple contractors and consultants engaged in this high profile project at various stage of the design
- Oversee design progress, monitor design timeline for timely completion and budget compliance.
- Ensure resource planning and allocation are in place for the ongoing projects.
- Oversee the technical design review and approval, assuring that align with, local authority and international standard and Company objectives
- Ensure that the design solutions are optimized for constructability, reliability and cost effectiveness and in line with Company standard
- Ensure coordination with other Development functions and Company Function to ensure seamless integration and efficient design interfaces.
- Coordinate with Project Delivery Director and Construction Director to prepare the Project Execution plan.
- Coordinate with Project Control Director and review all the detailed reports to be submitted to senior management on project status.
- Coordinate with Operational Director to develop Operation and Safety manual
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project delivery and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor all potential design change ensuring its properly communicate to Senior management for decision and approval.
- Manage the technical bid evaluation activities to ensure proper feedback to Procurement department.
- Perform review of the project status based on the initial project milestones plan and budget.
- Inform stakeholders of project status based on project specific milestones and deliverables.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure project stay within budget.
- Implement quality control.
- Implement and enforce company safety standard during design phase.

**Experience**
- Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore industry, Oil and Gas as Engineering manager/director.
- Experience across all engineering phase (concept, FEED, detail)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a EPCI company

**Competencies and Qualifications**
- Relevant engineering degree.
- High level relevant engineering management experience.
- Relative level of knowledge related to equipment and systems.
- Ability to liaise at high level with Senior management.
- Flexible to travel as situations dictate.
