We're in search of a seasoned Senior System Administrator - a tech maestro deeply rooted in OS

administration, with a keen eye on the evolving landscapes of networking, security, and emerging

technologies. A RHEL-certified powerhouse who isn't just about keeping things running but innovating and

B. What are the key responsibilities of this role?

**Responsibilities**:
▪ OS Administration:

- Manage and administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems to ensure optimal

performance, security, and availability.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot OS components, patches, updates, and software

packages.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.

▪ Network Management:

- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and

VPNs.
- Monitor network traffic and address connectivity issues promptly to ensure seamless

operations.
- Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access and

external threats.

▪ Security:

- Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard systems, data, and sensitive

information.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective

actions.

▪ Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and

troubleshooting steps.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance with

industry standards.

▪ Technical Leadership and Mentoring:

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the IT team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system

administration and security.

▪ DevOps and CI/CD:

- Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps methodologies, automate

deployment processes, and improve system reliability.
- Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD)

pipelines.
- Integrate monitoring and logging solutions to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and

performance optimization.
