This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with architects and other engineers to develop detailed construction plans and specifications and work with contractors to develop cost estimates and project schedules.
- Oversee the construction process to ensure that it is completed according to the plans and specifications.
- Monitor the progress of the project and identify and resolve any problems that arise.
- Responsible for ensuring that the construction project meets quality standards with the Quality department.
- Responsible for implementin safety procedures and support HSW on conduct of safety inspections and training to ensure that workers are aware of and follow safety procedures.
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, including architects, contractors, subcontractors, and client sectors and proponents.
- Knowledge of Construction materials and processes with understanding of the different materials and processes used in construction
- Use structural analysis to calculate the forces and stresses that will be exerted on a structure and to ensure that it is safe and stable during construction
- Basic understanding of geotechnical engineering for foundation construction

**Consultant Project Engineer (Earthworks) Experience**:

- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction engineering with at least 2 in a recognised PMC or consultancy company.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems quickly and efficiently.
- Able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government officials.
- Lead and manage teams of people.
- Able to plan, schedule, and budget construction projects effectively.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering software.
- Hands-on experience with construction materials and processes.
- Experience working on construction projects of varying sizes and complexities especially in the Middle East.
- Good understanding of the construction industry, including the latest trends and technologies.
- Conflict resolution skills between different stakeholders.
- Able to adapt to changing conditions and unexpected challenges.
- Able to pay close attention to detail to ensure that their designs and plans are accurate and safe
