We are looking for an experienced Head of Project Control Systems to manage the Module project planning systems and development of a key client projects. As our Head of Project Controls Systems, you will provide the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control, and report on cost and schedule for a key project; identify and tracks all changes or potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management. Integrates cost and schedule data and reporting with the company’s accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals. Additional services may include change control management, document control management, and critical path method network analysis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and improve existing project controls systems, policies and processes
- Evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhere to budgets, and meet deadlines
- Oversee the development of the project and ensure that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently
**Requirements**:
- 20 years’ experience; aware of associated discipline standards; completes tasks associated with discipline as part of a multidiscipline team under supervision of senior discipline lead;
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or any related discipline and/or holder of valid certification such as Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP).
- Planning/project controls professional in a line function who manages project controls specialists and institutes and maintains the project controls system of an organizational element or who has primary responsibility for project controls and manages the project controls team of a project.
- Proficient in use of Primavera P6, ACONEX and Risk Analysis software and other project controls systems
- Has experience in site development infrastructure and the building industry or similar industry and has cost estimating experience on large to mega building/architectural projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
