O&m Operator

A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of 5 years of experience in power plants.

Minimum 2 years of Solar power plant experience

Ensure effective operations and control of plant operating functions/all accordance with to the load dispatch requirements and weather forecast managing each equipment system from the Control Room system following the Operation Procedures and Shift Supervisor indications.

The Control Room Operator plays a key role in assisting the Operations Center Supervisor (Shift Supervisor) by assuring the highest level of safety, health and environmental standards while achieving maximum production and profitability in relation to the Plant.

Keep continuously informed about any matter by Power Block Operators and Solar Field Operators.

**3**

Assistance for Recruitment Plan, with special focus on Operations Team Mobilization Period, including training of key personnel.

Keep informed to the Shift Supervisor about any matter.

**5**

Keep updated and trained on each procedure. Actively propose improvement areas for any procedure.

**6**

At the end of each shift, attend regular meetings with fellow to discuss maintenance work progress, schedules problems, interferences, priorities, near misses, generation profile and outages records if any.

Follow emergency response and evacuation.

Review and follow once in operation plant dispatch declaration (Dispatch Declaration) for the forthcoming day prepared by Shift Supervisor / Operations Manager

Solar Field Cleaning: Keep in constant communication with Cleaning Truck Drivers and coordinate the solar collector deployment for a secure execution of their services in the solar field.

Conduct regular meetings to discuss work progress, schedules, problems, interferences, priorities etc.

Maintain and update reporting systems (Billing Software & DCS records) providing sufficient data to ensure that operations and maintenance tasks are being recorded with historical data in accomplishment within the specified limits, schedules and technical parameters.

Ensure and advise on proper and effective development of new human resources to ensure an appropriate learning culture of colleagues. Submit periodic reports to his supervisor and keep him informed on all technical problems, if any, as well as on new changes or modifications on existing work plant or schedule.

Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated.

**14**

Coordinate and participate in the emergency mock drills.

**15**

Perform other duties as assigned.

**Skills**:
4 years of experience in solar power plant operations;

7. Available for 24-hour on-call duty.

9. Experience with centralized SCADA/EMS control and decision-making responsibilities to maintain adherence to regulations.

10. Experience using analytical software to analyze equipment performance and identify performance issues

11. Possess knowledge of functional systems interactions and must be able to isolate critical elements in a complex system and regulated environment

12. Working knowledge of Commercial Power Plant Operations.

**Education**:
Diploma or Bachelors - Power - Electrical - Solar Engineering technology
