**Job Title**: Pre-Commissioning Engineer (Pipeline Projects)

**Job Summary**

The Pre-Commissioning Engineer will oversee and execute activities related to the preparation, testing, cleaning, and inspection of pipelines before commissioning. This role involves working closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that all pre-commissioning activities comply with technical standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Planning and Coordination**:

- Develop detailed pre-commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely execution of pre-commissioning activities.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- **Pre-Commissioning Activities**:

- Perform pipeline cleaning, gauging, hydrostatic testing, pigging, and drying.
- Conduct nitrogen purging, air blowing, and other relevant procedures.
- Monitor and document pressure tests and leak tests to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- **Compliance and Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure pre-commissioning activities comply with industry standards (ASME, API, ISO).
- Prepare and review test packages and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Conduct inspections and audits to verify adherence to safety and quality standards.
- **Risk Management and Safety**:

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with pre-commissioning activities.
- Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and protocols.
- Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and incident investigations as needed.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of pre-commissioning tests and activities.
- Prepare reports on progress, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
- Handover documentation to the commissioning team or client upon completion.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Educational Background**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.

**Experience**
- 7+ years of experience in pipeline pre-commissioning or a related field.
- Proven track record of working on pipeline projects in the oil and gas or energy sector.

**Technical Skills**
- Proficiency in pipeline testing methods (hydrostatic testing, pigging, drying).
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME B31.4, B31.8, API 1104, etc.).
- Familiarity with pre-commissioning tools and equipment.

**Soft Skills**
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

**Certifications (Optional but Preferred)**
- Certification in pipeline engineering or related field.
- HSE certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA).

Pay: ﷼8,000.00 - ﷼10,000.00 per month
