**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish electrical and low-current loads required.
- Preparation, reading and reviewing of wiring diagrams, load calculations, cable sizing calculations, earthing calculations, single line diagrams, electrical load lists, lighting calculations, motor data sheets, cable datasheets, small-power layouts, electrical layouts, electrical installations, etc.
- Prepare detailed designs including specifications, drawings and BOQs of Water pumping stations, Lift stations and Water Storage facilities, and water treatment/purification systems, residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and review piping & instrumentation diagrams.
- Assess the quality and quantity of each implementation phase of the project phasing scheme.
- Assess the most suitable, economic and easy way to operate electrical systems.
- Prepare power, lighting, earthing reports and documentation.
- Preparation priced and un-priced of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Projects.
- Preparation of project specifications.
- Guiding draftsman/modeler to produce the required drawings.
- Preparation of detailed cost estimates.
- Create and review electrical engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of designs.
- Prepare equipment specifications and data sheets in accordance with international and local codes.
- Managing engineering work and interface with other disciplines as needed.
- Provide Quality Control/Quality Assurance for work projects.
- Review and critique proposals, plans, or designs related to water or wastewater treatment systems.
- Preparation, read and review electrical power designs.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 7-12 years of experience in electrical design engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP and electrical modeling tools.
- Familiar with all engineering standards and codes IEEE/IEC/NFPA/ SBC/NWC Specifications
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components in construction and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills; visit clients, jobsites and consultant offices as needed to support project and business development needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Project management experience and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional engineering certification (such as PE or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
