Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead the procurement team in sourcing and procuring a wide range of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs, and provide guidance on best practices.
- Monitor market trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and recommend innovative procurement solutions.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain procurement software and tools to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of procurement operations.
- Manage supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, market conditions, and emerging trends that may impact procurement practices.
- Prepare and present regular procurement reports and updates to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and sustainable procurement practices, promoting responsible sourcing.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high standards within the procurement team.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar senior procurement role.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and strategies.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions.
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex procurement challenges.
- Understanding of sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS are advantageous.
