Based in the **Business Development Project Management Team **at the Yanbu Industrial City Program, Saudi Arabian Parsons Limited (SAPL) are looking to recruit a **Project Engineer **to provide the technical expertise and guidelines for future Industrial Developments, Refineries and Petrochemical Projects within the Program.

The role will report directly to the Director of Industrial Investment & Development Department. In this role the successful applicant will be an integral part of the engineering and technical input required when considering future schemes as well as ongoing schemes. Typically receiving direction with regards a project objectives and requirements and providing the required technical advice and guidance to meet the project objectives in areas such as utilities / infrastructure requirements and design as required.

The role will require an individual with advances communication capability and gravitas to be able to liaise with Operating Companies and vendors in this field, as well as daily interface with other Program Departments and The Client’s Management Team.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Provide best expertise, guidance and technical support to the Industrial Investment Development Department in refineries and petrochemical plant as part of project management team.
- Evaluate megaproject requirement such as land schemes, utilities connection plan, and value chain with integration possibilities.
- Provide technical assessment on refinery and petrochemical project management.
- Review petrochemical plant design, site preparation and project requirements.
- Provide petrochemical plant utility requirement and study the potential downstream opportunities.
- Review the petrochemical plant technical specifications and details and various utilities design and standards.
- Organizes, coordinates, and meet with the concerned petrochemical and refinery companies.
- Attends regularly scheduled Industrial Investment Development Department meetings.
- Provide the Industrial Investment Development Department with the required technical reports.

- Must be fluent and be able to effectively communicate in both spoken and written English skills
