Assist Paint shop supervisor in scheduling and sequencing the blasting and painting jobs received from various departments within the organization.
- Assist in preparation of QC reports (front receival, in-process and final inspection reports), make the proper report repository (in hard copy and soft copy format)
- Perform set up checks for blasting and painting. Able to fix any minor repair/ functional issues related with blasting and painting machines.
- Ensure proper functioning of the airless spray pumps. Ensure proper cleaning of the pumps.
- Ensure proper functioning of the blasting pots & accessories.
- Ensure timecards are UpToDate for employees in the team.
- Able to guide the blasting and painting team in their day-to-day work.
- Maintain record of consumables and paint material usage and assist paint supervisor in creating the Purchase requisition.
- Able to analyze the blasting and painting quality as well as functional issues, defects & can resolve such issues by making needful corrective and preventive actions.
- Able to understand and quantify the type of paint material (coating system) required for a particular type of work, can plan the consumables, equipment, accessories as well as manpower required for the job.
