Manager, Central Patient Transport

Manages and assists all activities in regards of facilitating the flow of work regarding the Patient Care Assistant’s. Performs special studies, plans projects to support day-to-day operation and contributes to the successful achievement of the safe and prompt Patient Transport.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Plans, organizes and directs the Section overall operations and daily activities.
2. Oversees the schedules, staff assignments and monitors subordinates to ensure the most effective and efficient utilization of resources.
3. Communicates and coordinates with management and departments on all inquiries concerning day-to-day operations.
4. Assists and participates in reviewing and analysing data, then developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
5. Participates and recommends patient transfer methodologies to increase patient satisfaction and promote a smooth patient flow.
6. Ensures and maintains Section Policies and Procedures, and provides necessary information as required.
7. Recommends systems, plans and methodologies to promote safe and timely patient transfer, and ensures that patient transferring equipment has high quality and safe medical standards.
8. Promotes safe environment and patient care by embracing a safety culture. Identifies risk areas through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to higher management.
9. Ensures that the assigned services/functions comply with policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and for prevention of healthcare associated infections, and commits to enhancing the patient experience.
10. Identifies staff training needs, coordinates with the concerned departments on this regard.
**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other related discipline is required.
**Experience Required**:
Three (3) years of related experience including one (1) year in a Senior/ supervisoryposition with Master’s, or five (5) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
- Saudi Nationals only.
