**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities to Anticipate**
- Lead and manages the translation team, allocates resource, reviews and approves all translation.
- Ensures that translation tools are adequate and that the translation team is coached in its use.
- Evaluate and refine translations for accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness, making necessary adjustments to enhance meaning.
- Proofread and verify translated documents to ensure consistency and precision.
- Updates job knowledge by reading publications in the source language; participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks
- Accomplishes translation service objectives by supporting management in selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions of translators.
- Meets translation operational standards by contributing translation services to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying translation system improvements.

**Qualifications You Must Have**:

- Bachelor of Translation, English, or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, with expert-level reading, writing, and translation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of specialized terminology across various domains, including business, finance, technology, law, and science.
- Experience with the translation software (SDL Studio or similar), using it for translation (assigning tasks and monitoring progress), proofreading (providing feedback in the software), and maintenance of and updating internal translation memories shared by the translation team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with MS Access and MS Project is a plus.

**Qualifications we value**:

- Experience with foreign business operations in KSA and legacy knowledge of program specific requirements and activity a plus
- Accredited industry certification in translation / interpreting a plus. Education, certification, or both may be substitute for experience.
