The Role
- Review & understand the project technical documents ( project drawings, Specifications ) - Analyze all suppliers to select the most suitable suppliers who can deliver high quality products at competitive pricing. - Prepare a procurement action plan as per the project time schedule considering the long lead items - Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, Cost, and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company. - Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality. - Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data. - Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule to ensure on-time deliveries of final Materials to site. - Coordinates with the Project Manager for completing the Procurement Schedule - Coordinates with the Procurement Unit Head to complete and update the Procurement Plan and ensures it is regularly updated - Coordinates and consolidates requests for permanent materials among multiple projects to negotiate the most advantageous terms - Follow up / Prepares Purchase Orders / Sub-contract Agreement as per approved submittal and material service request sent by the site - Completes the Purchase Order’s attachment, comparison sheet, and material files for Procurement Unit Head’s review - Manages the efficient flow of purchase requests to the buyers for action - Accountable for the prequalification of suppliers and subcontractors - Evaluates whether suppliers are capable of consistently delivering products and services to the projects in a timely manner and as required quality standards - Searches for, identifies, and establishes contacts with new suppliers and subcontractors - Updates RSC suppliers’ and subcontractors’ database - Maintains quality and price records for all purchased items - Develop, implement, and drive the procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Architect Engineering field - Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills - Minimum 10 - 15 years’ experience in procurement in a construction/contracting firm, its preferred if he works on ( Dubai, Bahren ). - Experience in the GCC is mandatory - Strong computer skills( excel, SAP, ERP systems ) - Fluent in English (oral and written) - Arabic language is a plus
