Position Summary:

The
Senior Procurement Specialist
will be responsible for managing and executing all procurement activities—both local and international—to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the oil and gas sector and a proven track record working with or for
Saudi Aramco
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage vendor qualification, selection, and performance evaluation.
  • Handle tendering, bidding, and contract negotiation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Saudi regulations, and Aramco procurement standards.
  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, and finance teams to fulfill project material requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and documentation for management review.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Saudi National (mandatory)
  • Bachelor's degree
    in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience
    in both
    local and international markets
    , preferably in the
    oil and gas
    or
    energy
    sectors.
  • Ex-Aramco experience
    (either as a direct employee or as a contractor/supplier) is
    highly preferred
    .
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in
    English and Arabic
    (written and spoken).
