The Additive Manufacturing Engineer leads the creation, evaluation, and implementation of end-to-end manufacturing solutions for key design features on BH products.

As an Additive Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Actively participate in HSE programs as assigned.
- Conceive, design, prototype, test, document, and support production processes, procedures, equipment, and systems for manufacturing production.
- Support troubleshooting tool failures of NPI production.
- Recognize synergies throughout the organization, initiate, drive and complete implementation of the benefits into new products.
- Responsible for technical input for new product manufacturing, QA and service delivery technical department.
- Evaluate customer quality requirements and engineer to order requirements. Advise Plant Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Drive efficiency for manufacturing processes on a global scale. Drive for Change - to reduce Manufacturing cost and improve turnaround time without compromising quality.
- Manage the support and provision of project tools and systems.
- Drive standards, procedures, processes and information management.
- Represent PL SC Mfg and produces consolidated reporting to PDM Check points/Business reviews board, including milestone summary (SC readiness requirements), key issues and benefits.
- Lead, initiates and facilitates plant level process improvement projects with focus on cost reduction and efficient production.
- Setup and maintain routers and bills of material (BOM) in SAP
- Review and action engineering change requests and orders.
- Troubleshoot, test, assemble and perform visual inspection of electronic and mechanical systems.
- Identify cost-out opportunities and elevate to Product Line Supply Chain Leader and Design Engineering teams.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (Mechanical Engineering or closely related field)
- Have 4 years of experience in Manufacturing.
- Have experience in mechanical product development, manufacturing engineering, tooling engineering, high precision fabrication, or similar roles
- Have knowledge of Topology optimization tools on metal production components
- Demonstrate design experience
- Demonstrate commitment and tenacity; a self-starter who learns quickly and adapts to find new solutions in the face of adversity
