- Key Skills: _Gird condition monitoring, HV Cables, Cable Testing, Cable Failure Analysis_
- Must have previous experience working on European or USA grid/cable assets.
- Support the end client on asset inspection and health index estimation of various equipment and infrastructure.
- Recommend preventive and reactive maintenance activities based on the condition of the client assets.
- Support client during major incident by providing recommendation to repairs or restore failing equipment.
- Challenge OEM on the recommendation given to our client and support client during repairs activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the European HQ & research lab to study or analyse major equipment failures.
- To visit the sites jointly with the client maintenance crew to monitor their activities, provide coaching and training when needed and identify area of improvement.

The Profile
- Formal education, degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related topic.
- Types of Cable testing: Partial Discharg, Sheath Integrity, Core Insulation Test, Tan delta, VLF withstand test, DC insulation resistance
- Test during Failure Analysis: the one above with Hot oil bath, Microscopic analysis, Water tree analysis
- 5-10 years of experience in transmission grids O&M
- Demonstrable experience working with a Transmission System Operator in the US or Europe
- Proven experience working on transmission grids (not only distribution grids)
- Willingness to work as an expat advisor to coach and teach managers their and teams
- Willingness to work in Riyadh and relocate to Saudi Arabia for the duration of the project / up to 3 years
