Process Engineer- Thermal Oxidizer/burner/combustion

**Your Job**
Koch Engineering Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer for our Thermal Oxidizer process team. The TO process engineer is responsible for process design of thermal oxidizer systems and supports the commercial, order execution and aftermarket service teams for our Thermal Oxidizer product line. We serve the international refining petrochemical, midstream, downstream and pharmaceutical markets. The job location will be Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The process engineer work together with the local team but also have constant knowledge exchange with our global process team to find best solutions for our clients.

**What You Will Do**
- This role will provide detailed process design of thermal oxidation systems supporting the commercial, execution and customer aftermarket service teams. The process design will include the thermal oxidizing chamber and burner, as well as ancillary equipment such as waste heat recovery systems, DeNOx Systems (SNCR & SCR), and flue gas scrubbing equipment (dry & wet). The process engineer oversees the process technology of our thermal oxidizer solutions to support our clients over the complete lifetime of our installed equipment. His responsibility is the preparation of process documents, like material and energy balance, equipment datasheets and P&IDs for the project. The process engineer will participate in the project technical risk assessment, as well as system commissioning, troubleshooting and operators training at the customer site.

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- 5+ years of experience in product design specific to customer projects or equivalent work experience
- Chemical Engineering education background
- Excellent communication skill in Arabic and English
- Strong adherence to compliance
- Available to travel 25%.

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience working with combustion equipment
- Process design experience with thermal oxidation systems.
- Process design experience with burners for process heaters or industrial boiler packages.
- Experience with working directly with international customers and suppliers.
