Parsons SAPL workload in Saudi Arabia continues to hit new levels with new projects & programs coming online recently and more in the pipeline our reputation in the Kingdom goes from strength to strength. The 'Jewel in the Crown' remains the JCPDI Program of works at Jazan. We are undertaking in conjunction with the Saudi Royal Commission. Parsons SAPL are the primary consultant overseeing overall Program Management including Engineering & Design, Construction Supervision, O&M, Project Management as well as all other management consultant disciplines in this construction of a new Economic City which will shape the economic and commercial sustainability of KSA.

Within the Engineering & Design Team we have openings for young, up and coming **Civil Engineers **and as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility as well as our investment in the Saudi Community as a whole we are looking for Saudi National Talent to join our team and be allowed to grow and develop a career.

The Engineering & Design Team at Jazan is simply world class It is a culturally diverse team with members originating from all parts of the world including Western / European, Subcontinental, South East Asian and Middle Eastern / Arabic Team members - all of whom bring their own ideas and industry knowledge to from a team capable of undertaking any Engineering & Design task.

As a Civil Engineer you will be given training, development and exposure across the full spread of Engineering & Design tasks including (but not limited to):

- Assisting in the review of design for the engineering projects according to the JCPDI codes and standards.
- Work on design tasks from Concept, Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD).
- Work closely with the AEs and reviewers, provide necessary coordination for data acquisition, and 3rd party reviews.
- Conduct design review meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and drawings for bid packages related to the development of various community and industrial projects.
- Assist in the review of A/E contractors' design submittals, specifications, calculations and coordinate work of other disciplines and departments.
- Assist in the review of vendor drawings and shop drawings.
- Performs various engineering calculations, as necessary.
- Performs field inspection and provides field support as necessary.

- SAUDI NATIONAL.
- A Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (or related field) from a recognized University with a GPA of 3/4 or 4/5.
- 0 - 3 years of post graduate experience.
- Basic knowledge of engineering and construction disciplines.
- The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.
- Computer literate and proficient with the industry standard and design software for engineering projects and MS Office package.
