Sr. Accountant

**Role Summary**:
Ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping, Balance sheet accounts reconciliation, Journal entry, Journal entry upload. IFRS compliance, and other regulatory requirements.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the timely and accurate recording of all GL transactions in the ERP system.
- Conduct weekly reconciliation of bank accounts to identify and address discrepancies. And Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities on time.
- Make sure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled.
- Review period-end journal entries and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Fixed assets register maintained.
- Prepaid expenses
- Assist in the preparation of accrual files.
- Calculate and prepare tax returns, including VAT and income tax, and Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- SOCPA, and CMA, certificates are preferred
- 4+ years of experience in various rules.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong verbal & written communication skills in both English & Arabic.

- Familiarity with ZATCA, IFRS, and other financial regulatory requirements, and the ability to ensure compliance in financial operations.
