**Job Summary**
Sales Engineer is responsible for assigned accounts/sites (end-users and EPCs) for System & Software businesses. Development and pursuit of business opportunities within assigned accounts is the major priority of this role.
This position is accountable for identifying, developing, and driving sales opportunities within assigned accounts/sites. Coordination with inside sales teams, SMEs, and operations are the key activities performed by this role to ensure solutions offered are fit for industry and meeting customer needs. Developing close relationships with counterparts in customer organizations and driving customer satisfaction is a key aspect of this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Builds and manages long-term customer relationships and resolutions to specific customer needs and issues.
- Meet/exceed the financial goals for the assigned accounts/sites.
- Pursues, qualifies, and leads new opportunities till closure.
- Works with the inside sales team to generate quotes, provide technical information, and ensure compliance with company processes from quote to order.
- Manages the opportunity funnel in CRM and submits monthly and yearly forecasts for bookings.
- Demonstrate and present SYSS technologies and solutions to customers.
- Collaborates and supports project pursuit team with ongoing pursuits.
- Leverages the local Sales channels and Service teams to identify and qualify opportunities and drive the teams to enter all opportunities into the CRM.
- Reviews and provides input/feedback on all proposals generated by the local Proposal team, and collaborate with global Subject Matter Experts to build the best-suited technical solution for customers.
- Works with the Operations and Service teams to ensure complete delivery of existing contracts, including attending regular customer review meetings when required, and continuously improve and expand the scope of all existing services contracts.
**Basic Qualifications**
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation) or Equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience automation industry
