- Responsible for assisting the IMSS Project Manager in executing all tasks required for IMSS in support of MNG AVN; to include 100% aircraft maintenance, aircraft maintenance management, aircraft maintenance support, maintenance test flights, flight line support, logistics support, maintainer training, OJT, and mentorship to MNG AVN personnel. Ensures maintenance functional activities and procedures are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established operational readiness (OR) rates for AH-64E, UH-60M, AH-6i, and MD530 platforms IAW contractual requirements and other measures of effectiveness IAW TC 3-04.7. Serves as Director’s liaison with OPM-SANG, MNG AVN personnel, and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) for matters relating to fleet management, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, training, warranties, and safety. Ensures operations are conducted in a safe/effective manner. Serves as IMSS Department Manager, as necessary.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
- A. Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all IMSS Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.

2. Define and implement aviation maintenance organizational goals, objectives, and priorities to meet/exceed PWS requirements.

3. Responsible for aviation maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reporting to achieve platform Operational Readiness (OR) objectives.

4. Direct aviation maintenance training activities, to include training management, evaluation management, continuation training, OJT, and leader engagement to meet/exceed certification requirements.

5. Responsible to resource and staff a workforce of approximately 100 aviation professionals; ensure currency, qualifications, and local indoctrination training.

6. Responsible for IMSS operational coordination with OPM SANG COR and MNG AVN leadership.

7. Responsible for consolidating and submitting all IMSS Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and PWS deliverables.

8. Areas of emphasis include: Collective and individual maintenance training, PC meetings, BN/BDE Maintenance meetings, Phase Maintenance, Offsite Operations, Aircraft Port Operations, Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) activities; Contractor/MNG AVN Personnel integration.

9. Other tasks as directed by the IMSS Division Manager.

B. Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Report directly to the IMSS Department Manager. Direct supervisor of all Aviation Maintenance Managers and Maintenance Test Pilots.**Minimum Qualifications**

A. Education Level:
1. Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training and experience required.

2. Preferred: Master’s Degree or higher.

B. Training Certifications:
1. Required: Graduate of a US Military Advanced Aviation Maintenance Course (ANCOC, ALC, AMOC, etc.).

C. Experience:
1. Required: Battalion level or equivalent Aviation Maintenance Management experience.

2. Preferred: 15 years’ experience in US Military Aviation Operations, Logistics and Maintenance or civilian equivalent. 5 years’ Program / Project Management experience.

D. Specific knowledge, skills, ability:
1. Knowledge and experience of rotary wing Aviation operations inclusive of maintenance and logistics.

2. Past performance in the development or organizational plans, policies, and operational procedures.

3. Experience and familiarity with TC 3-04.7 and other US Army Aviation Doctrine.

4. Must be proficient in the English language both written and spoken.

5. Possess a valid driver’s license.

E. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
