- ** Cost Analysis and Budgeting**: Analyze procurement costs and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Develop and manage procurement budgets for construction projects.
- ** Risk Management**: Assess and mitigate procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality issues. Implement contingency plans to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- ** Quality Control**: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that purchased materials and services meet project specifications and industry standards. Address any quality issues or non-conformities in a timely manner.
- ** Vendor Performance Evaluation**: Monitor vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations. Conduct periodic vendor reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- ** Compliance and Regulations**: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing procurement practices in the construction sector. Stay updated on changes in regulations and incorporate them into procurement processes.
- ** Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and correspondence. Generate regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and vendor performance metrics.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement department within the construction industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and suppliers.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
