**Key Responsibilities**
- Collects business strategic inputs and elaborates them according to the local health care systems and current/future healthcare trends in order to define the HEMA country strategy and objectives.
- Develops HEMA plan for the Country in order to ensure its execution through Health Technology Assessments, market access initiatives and stakeholder engagement actions.
- Assess reimbursement and funding opportunities and challenges and communicate business impact to senior management.
- Develop and implement reimbursement and funding activities working with internal and external stakeholders
- Function as a key member of the Growing Emerging Markets HEMA team and collaborate closely the Divisional EMEA HEMA teams, leveraging available tools, documents and resources as well as sharing strategies and best practices.
- Represents and promotes BSC with relevant stakeholders (Governmental bodies, structural funding and reimbursement bodies, C-suite, Health Technology Assessment bodies, Scientific societies, KOLs - both clinical (physicians) and non-clinical, Payers, Policy Makers etc.), through market access initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities, demonstrating clinical and Health Economics outcomes and contributing in the creation of innovative value propositions that demonstrate the value of BSC portfolio to the specific healthcare landscape in the Country
- Effectively and autonomously engages and influences external stakeholders of the Country at national, regional and local level.
- Manages HEMA relationship with internal stakeholders (e.g. Country Leadership Team, sales & marketing leadership, HS&P, new product launch teams, clinical, Medical Affairs, legal, Global Divisional teams etc.), providing Health Economics data/insights/capabilities and supporting external stakeholder management in collaboration with Sales/Marketing/HS&P teams.
- Reinforces institutional relationship/partnership and establishes/maintains a network of Key Opinion Leaders at national level, regional and local levels.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with other functions/countries, by providing continuous support and deliver training/coaching to sales force, marketing, HS&P and other stakeholders.

**Position requirements**:

- University Degree level education required in any discipline; postgraduate qualification in health economics, statistics, public health, epidemiology or a scientific field is an asset.
- Significant health economics & market access and stakeholder engagement experience ideally gained within the medical device or pharmaceutical industries
- Experience of working within an environment where significant product differentiation is required from competitors to be successful; able to demonstrate own contribution to the creation of innovative value propositions together with our HEMA EMEA team.
- Skilled networker and collaborator; holds, or has proven ability to build, a close network of senior individuals within healthcare landscape, e.g. Department of Health in Region.
- Highly commercial in approach; proven ability to combine technical excellence with strong commercial awareness - strong sales focus.
- Previous experience essential; skilled at collaborating with senior colleagues
- Fluency in English (written and verbal). Native speaker in local language.
