**GENERAL PURPOSE**

A leading Maritime company in the offshore oil & gas services is seeking a Projects Director to oversee the Company Projects portfolio & Manage the execution of projects assigned to the company throughout the entire project life cycle, acting as focal point of support and advisory either internal within the company or external with the clients and third parties.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage awarded contracts.
- Handle clients enquiries & correspondences.
- Assign task forces required for projects execution, tenders study & offers preparation.
- Acting as PMO head (project management office) to Supervise, direct and control running projects.
- Supervise & assist in the preparation of offers (technical & commercial).
- Supervise & assist in Preparation of the projects budget.
- Review, approve projects execution plans and supervise the preparation of projects documents (procedures, schedule...etc.).
- Review and comment on client proposed contracts forms in coordination with MOP contracts director.
- Monitor ongoing projects progress & report to clients/ top management.
- Make sure the projects are being executed within the determined scope ,cost ,time, quality & assigned resources.
- Make sure that projects team performance is aligned with MOP QHSE policies & procedures.
- Solve technical issues raised during project execution.
- Oversee, Manage & handle major subcontractors & third parties related to projects execution in coordination with supply chain manager.
- Close out of projects with internal & external parties (clients, departments, third parties, subcontractors).
- **QHSE Responsibilities**:

- Support the organization’s policy commitments and other applicable Arrangements related to its QHSE management system.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
- Take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what they do or don't do in the course of their work.
- Notify their line manager about any health, safety or environmental concerns they have.
- Suggest improvements and being active in the general improvement of all Systems and methods of work to ensure Company operations are carried out in a personally and environmentally safe, reliable and cost effective way.

**Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**
- BSc. Mechanical Engineering, Naval architecture, Offshore Engineering.
- Certified Project Manager.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Excellent knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry codes & standards (API, AWS, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of the offshore installation methodologies & best practice.
- Excellent knowledge of offshore installation codes & standards (DNV, GL/Noble Denton...etc.)
- very good knowledge of EGPC contracts forms, terms & conditions.

**EXPERIENCE**
- +15 years in offshore, oil & gas industry.
- +10 years in planning, managing and executing offshore projects.

**SKILLS**

AUTOCAD - MS Office - PMP
- **Languages**

Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
