Senior Contracts Engineer Job Description
Penspen are looking for a Senior Contracts Engineer to be based in Al Khafji, KSA.

The Senior Contracts Engineer is accountable for the management of the contracts team deployed on various projects. Contract execution support is given to Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.

The role will also be involved in review of early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2), as far as procurement and contracting strategy is concerned, produced by KJO front end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

Alternate I - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Administration/Business or Equivalent closely related field. (OR)

Alternate II - Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Contract Management.

Alternate I - Twelve (12) years of experience in project contract administration, procurement, vendor communication and contract writing skills. At least Ten (10) years in contract relevant activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

Alternate II - Fourteen (14) years of experience in project management activities, project contract administration, procurement, communication and contract writing skills including at least Ten (10) years in related contract activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

  • PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
  • Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
