Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Manager to join our team in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive our organisation's success in the oil and gas industry.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategic plans aligned with organisational goals
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across multiple departments
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Analyse complex data sets to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of planning processes
- Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on project progress and performance
- Mentor and develop junior planning staff to build a high-performing team
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and identify growth opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in planning or a related field, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Proven track record of successful strategic planning and project management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning tools
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry operations, regulations, and supply chain management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills advantageous
- Willingness to work in Khafji, Saudi Arabia, and travel as needed
