What You'll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across design, furniture, and fit-out sectors to drive Makan's growth.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage potential clients, developers, contractors, and key decision-makers.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients, vendors, and industry networks that support long-term success.
- Prepare and manage proposals, quotations, and tenders with design and technical teams, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- Lead negotiations and close profitable contracts that meet company targets while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with design and execution teams to define scope, pricing, and deliverables for each project.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and strengthen Makan's position in the market.
- Represent Makan with professionalism and confidence in every meeting, event, and client interaction.
Ideal Candidate:
- A proven track record in business development or sales within the interior design, fit-out, or construction industry.
- A strong network of clients, developers, and vendors across Saudi Arabia or the GCC — and the skill to turn connections into deals.
- The ability to translate design and technical concepts into clear, compelling, and profitable commercial proposals.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive-level clients — in Arabic and English.
- A solid understanding of interior project lifecycles, from concept to completion, ensuring precision at every stage.
- A high sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through — you never drop the ball.
- A degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering — or equivalent real-world expertise.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi market dynamics, procurement processes, and government project frameworks.
- A talent for brand storytelling — presenting ideas and spaces that inspire confidence and imagination.
- Experience thriving in fast-growth or startup environments, where speed, adaptability, and excellence are non-negotiable.
