Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

GCDSC is a premier contractor in Saudi Arabia, delivering excellence in high-rise buildings, mega infrastructure works, and design & build projects. With a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and quality, we are expanding our Estimation Department in Riyadh and looking for top professionals to join our team.

The ideal candidate will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for large-scale construction projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, specifications, sustainability goals, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to prepare detailed estimates (labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs).

Perform precise quantity take-offs and cost analyses using estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Accubid, ConEst, etc.).

Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for compliance and competitiveness.

Conduct cost and risk analyses to identify potential overruns and savings opportunities.

Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid strategy sessions.

Support tender submissions, clarifications, exclusions, and cost documentation.

Incorporate LEED and sustainable construction requirements into estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective, constructible solutions.

Maintain updated cost databases and monitor market trends.

Contribute to value engineering, constructability reviews, and project optimization.

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in cost estimating for major construction or infrastructure projects.

Proven expertise in preparing detailed estimates for complex and large-scale projects.

Strong proficiency in estimating software (ProEst, WinEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Accubid, ConEst).

Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling).

Experience with LEED-certified or sustainable construction projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

LEED Green Associate or LEED AP (BD+C) accreditation.

Experience using BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and digital workflows.

Proven experience with mega or high-end commercial projects.

Familiarity with design-build, CM-at-risk, and hard-bid delivery methods.

Demonstrated leadership in value engineering, cost analysis, and proposal preparation.
